Chris Sturridge-Packer

Chris has worked in the legal sector for over 8 years and qualified as a Solicitor in 2014.

Starting his career with a leading regional law firm handling corporate uninsured loss recovery claims, he quickly progressed to dealing with the firm's corporate clients' high value and sensitive litigated claims and was awarded the employee of the year award for overall exceptional achievement in 2010.

Chris joined Strata Solicitors in 2011 and continued handling Fast-Track and Multi-Track litigated claims through to settlement and Trial. In doing so, Chris gained vast experience in handling complex litigated Fast and Multi-Track claims under negligence, various statutes and breach of contract. Acting for Claimants and Defendants, he routinely dealt with all of the issues that may arise in such cases, including complex disclosure exercises, interlocutory applications and hearings, mediation, negotiation, advocacy, costs and many Trials.

During this time Chris also gained experience handling litigated personal injury, breach of contract, non-motor, theft and deception claims.

Chris is now responsible for a team of Lawyers and Claims Handlers that recover uninsured losses on behalf of the firm's corporate clients and pursuing personal injury claims for the injured occupants of the corporate clients' vehicles. Dealing with complex technical legal issues whilst keeping in mind commercial considerations and adopting a pragmatic approach, Chris draws on his Fast and Multi-track litigation experience to oversee the recovery department's litigated cases and is a first point of contact for the team's corporate clients.
