Richard jointly established Strata Solicitors Ltd in April 2011 as a law firm focusing solely on the corporate claims market, delivering the highest level of personal and bespoke service to corporate clients with specialist needs. Richard started his career in the underwriting department of AGF Insurance, moving to the claims department as part of a project team. He then moved to Allianz when they took over the AGF book of business, working in the corporate client claims department. Richard then moved to the world’s largest loss adjuster, as a liability claims handler within their UK based desk top claims operation, quickly progressing to team leader, then operations manager for the entire Milton Keynes corporate clients services office. As part of a strategic growth plan, Richard then joined the central business development team within Crawford & Company, broadening his remit and exposure within the business. These roles gave him extensive knowledge in all areas of operations and client relationships, with him taking the lead on the majority of the large implementations and on-going client relationships during the latter part of his employment. In 2007 Richard joined a leading law firm as part of a team to set up a corporate claims handling operation, providing notification to settlement services to corporate clients with large self-insured retentions and also to assist in improving and expanding the uninsured loss recovery operation.
